Former Ivy League Admissions Officer
We are looking for someone who has sat on the other side of the desk and read real files under real deadlines. This role sets the standard for how we evaluate an application before a family ever sees our advice.
Requirements — all are mandatory
- →A minimum of three years reading undergraduate applications in the admissions office of an Ivy League institution, with dates and role verifiable.
- →A degree from an Ivy League institution or an institution of comparable selectivity.
- →Ten or more years of total professional experience in admissions, secondary school counselling, or higher education.
- →Direct experience serving on an admissions committee and defending files in committee discussion.
- →Demonstrated ability to evaluate a complete application — transcript, rigour, activities, recommendations and essays — and articulate a defensible read in writing.
- →Willingness to have your role, institution and dates published and independently verified on our website.
- →Written confirmation that you are free of any non-disclosure or post-employment obligation that would restrict this work.
- →Absolute commitment to our integrity standard: we never write, ghostwrite or submit any part of an application.
Strongly preferred
- +Experience across more than one selective institution.
- +Familiarity with the current test-optional and AI-disclosure landscape.
- +Graduate degree in education, counselling or a related field.
- +Experience training or supervising junior readers.
Head of Marketing
We need someone who can build demand for a premium service without ever overstating what it delivers. Every claim we publish has to survive a sceptical parent checking it. That constraint is the job.
Requirements — all are mandatory
- →A minimum of seven years owning growth or marketing for a premium or considered-purchase service, not a low-ticket product.
- →A bachelor’s degree from a highly selective institution; graduate degree preferred.
- →Demonstrable record of taking a business from early revenue to consistent inbound demand, with numbers you can show and explain.
- →Deep working knowledge of paid social, search, and organic content as a combined system, not as separate channels.
- →Direct experience marketing to parents, families or high-consideration buyers where trust decides the purchase.
- →Fluency with the advertising compliance rules that govern education claims, testimonials and outcome statements.
- →Ability to write. Not to brief a writer — to write.
- →Comfort operating with no inflated claims, no invented scarcity and no fabricated results. This is not negotiable and it will constrain your creative options.
Strongly preferred
- +Experience in education, admissions, or another regulated-claims category.
- +Built and owned a content engine that produced qualified leads rather than impressions.
- +Familiarity with bilingual or diaspora marketing, particularly Vietnamese-language audiences.
- +Have run marketing for a firm of fewer than ten people and enjoyed it.
